Julie & Dan's Wedding:

We were married in a civil ceremony in Chicago.  From there we traveled to Ksar Char-Bagh in Marrakech (more details about the lovely palace, where we were the only guests) to exchange rings and original vows, as well as host a celebration (on February 8, 2004).  Here are some pictures from the wedding in Morocco, and the wedding announcement from the Charleston newspaper.  We then spent several days on the north coast of Tenerife (Canary Islands) staying in a quiet fishing village at Hotel San Roque (pictures from Chicago & Tenerife).

Although we greatly appreciate the best wishes of our friends and family regarding our recent wedding, no wedding gifts are necessary.  If you wish to give something, we would appreciate if you would consider donating to a non-profit organization that we support.  They are Oceana -- dedicated to ocean preservation from both a science and policy perspective -- and International Crisis Group, committed to research and action in resolving deadly regional conflicts.
